In todays lesson we started to discuss our ideas for the story line, including where it will be set, when we will film the clips, how many actors we will need and what props and costume we will need. for ManMans costume we looked at other well known superhero's to get ideas, by doing this we picture ManMan wearing skinny jeans, pink T-shirt with a capital M on the front, pants over his jeans, a blue cape and a swimming hat.
Josh said that he wants the introduction to have the same feel as British films such as Son of Rambo which will put our production under the genre of British Social Realism/Teen comedy.

Today we had our first group discussion about our media task. This is to produce a movie intro using a specific genre of our choice. We have decided to make an adventure/humor based on super hero characters on current films.
We also name our production company "Long Cat Productions".
We have given ourselves roles within the production company to help with the workload and fluidity of the production. The role of ManMan (the superhero) has been given to James Proctor. James is also in charge of keeping all the production companies work safe. Josh West has been given the role, Director of photography and editor. Katie Boyce will also star in the production along side keeping a diary of group meetings in order to write on the blog. As a group we will all combine our ideas to write the script and draw the story board.
